ConneXion Frisbee Tournament

Besides being busy with projects and assignments, I was dragged/forced/pulled to frisbee practices because of this very first ConneXion Frisbee Tournament. ConneXions (Penang, Subang, Damansara and Semenyih) and Colleges/Universities (Nilai UC, Segi and Nottingham) are sending teams, and there are total of 10 teams.

Waking up early and walk to ConneXion house:

The tournament was at INTI Nilai, so I'm leading the way again since I'm quite familiar with the way to Nilai. The situation there wasn't pleasant to us, the field was all soaked. I was just thinking "I'm really gonna just stand". Our team chose to wear Santa hat for the whole tournament, and it's a MUST. *Whose stupid idea was that anyway?*

Wet floor and wearing Santa hat:

Other teams slowly arrived, more and more familiar faces. There're people from ex-college, ex-church, uni.... it's just a lot of people. They were all kinda serious bout the game, but we're just being weird shouting Merry Christmas all around.

See the contrast?

So... the game started, we played 5 games (won 2 loss 3). A summary that I can make is running around muddy floor with indoor court shoe and get dirty (if that's what they one, OK~). I guess I make the right choice of not joining much of the games, but I was still completely messed up.

Catch, throw, run, slide (basically that's what they do):

Good think that we got to clean up a bit in INTI College's washroom. The tournament lasted til late evening, so we just had our dinner in front of Desa Palma (used to be our territory). Well, let's just call it a crazy day.

A whole long table again:

Oh ya, I couldn't believe that Robert Yee kept my birthday present and passed it to me. It was exactly 3 months belated... but thanks anyway. It's really been a very long time since I'm in Nilai Sunday Service... Argh

Why is it wrapped with "Thank You"?

Lord, pray that You blessed us in this series of Christmas events. Which they are done not for our pleasure, but for Your glory. Let us see Your presence in these events and help us grow closer to each other. Also pray that You bless our study week as we step forward into exam month.

If I remember correctly, it's either Audri/Trent/Nelson who came up with the Xmas hat idea. Haha. I didn't think it was weird..

It was a fun day overall, right? :) And don't worry about not playing well. I played badly too, and so did many of us. Let's train hard and prepare for the next possible tourney! Haha. =D
