Christmas Eve Caroling

On Christmas Eve, a few of us from Nottingham joined Cheras Baptist in caroling. We arrived earlier as Tim told me they need help for Christmas preparation, basically for the lunch and baptism the next day.

Sorting out the tables and chairs:

Some of them cleaning the baptism pool and waterproofing the path:

After working for 2 hours, everything seems to be done. We had a rush practice for the caroling songs while waiting everyone to get prepared. There're around 30 of us, not all of us know where the houses are, so it's important to aim for our own cars.

Looks like wedding dinner, following church members' car:

We went to fill up the petrol thinking of the long run and lost the rest of them. Thanks God we found the first house gradually but we're a bit late, everything still goes smooth though. The second place is an apartment, the lift won't made it for all of us so some boys used the staircase, all the way to 7th floor.

First and second house:

We can only stay at a house for less than 30 minutes, and there we go rushing to the next house. The next 2 houses are more spacious, looks very nice too. I was appointed to do scripture reading for the 3rd house in a sudden =.= The caroling sounded better and better, everyone seems to have a lot of fun.

Third and fourth house:

Finally, here we are at the last house in Sungai Long, everyone was so glad to make it that far. A very good job done by our 2 guitarists Bryan and Julian as well as assistants Sophia and Janice.

Final house and the guitarists:

Thanks God there're refreshments at every houses we visited. Not that filling but at least they kept us running. Since it's the last house, all of us just chill around until 12 midnight and did a Christmas countdown (it's really a beautiful house). Great job everyone!

Refreshment and chilling:

"Let there be real harmony so there won't be divisions in the church. I plead with you to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose."

Thank You Lord for blessing us such a wonderful time of fellowship and a meaningful evangelistic event to praise Your name. Pray that the seeds that we plant in the lost will slowly got harvest and grow into a faithful heart of worship. In Jesus I pray, Amen.
