Rock Climbing

I'm finally out again! Actually it's just to meet up with Cheryl and Robert who are on the way back to Nilai, gonna spend the weekend with them. Was in Inti music room watching them doing worship practice, honestly it's not any better than Nilai UC's music room :P

Meeting them up in Serdang station:

Just nice, they were organizing a rock climbing trip at Putra Jaya. Since I have nothing to do, and most of them are going, I have no choice. Seriously, it kinda impress me that there is such a nice place in Malaysia, the indoor rock climbing building looks high class.

Arrive at Putra Jaya Challenge Park:

We were split into 2 groups, 1 started with bouldering and another rock climbing. What a pleasure to have a few experienced climber, also students from UniKL to guide us throughout, the staffs there weren't much helpful after all. I kinda like bouldering (seems it's easy), did more than 10 rounds I think.

Next on, we're there for real rock climbing. Gosh~ it's like 5-storey high, can't imagine myself in that position. For safety purpose, 2 person are tied by a rope that hooked at the top end. One person gonna act as an anchor down there to hold the climber's position when he needs rest and loosen it when he needs to get down.

I was OK for at the beginning, keep on climbing smoothly and finally it's 1 more stone to reach the top. Crap~ I'm stuck at that position, there's no reachable rocks around. It took long enough til I struggled and touched the last rock, but my stamina fails me... I have no more strength to pull myself up. Ah~ but thanks a lot to my anchor down there, he gave me really good instructions and it was really fun.

At that kind of high altitude, when instruction is given "you can let go of your hands now". Thinking that your grip depends on the 4 stones that you are stepping and holding, and your life will just be on a rope, how daring are you to let go? Sometimes, God has given his instruction, but are we willing to give all of our life for it? Pray all this in Jesus name, Amen.

Back In Semenyih

It's my first time booking my flight online myself, I remembered that I didn't choose a specific seat. Gosh~ the random placing put me at a hot seat (not much difference though, it's not first class). Seems like not much people is boarding this flight.

I'm bringing 2 luggages with me, it's kinda insufficient since I'm literally "moving house". Anyway, I'm giving 25 kg a try. I'm ready to take out some stuffs at the check in counter, wow... God is really working. Both luggages are 24.8 kg together.

I'm ready to spent RM100 - RM150 for the airport taxi back to Semenyih from LCCT, the previous ride to Nilai arleady took me RM40+, from Nilai to Semenyih alone is RM50, and that was 2 years back. But hey~ it's only RM70 (consider expensive too). I had a good ride chatting with the driver anyway.

Although I know things will happen like this, I still can't accept that it's already til this extent. I'm already back in Semenyih, the jungle of mental torturing and everlasting head damage.

It's already at night when I reached, I'm not gonna clean my new room so soon, just enjoy the night with Eugene having dinner in iDi's restaurant. Aw... it's not like I missed those moments, but finally, I'M OUT OF HOME!!!

Ok... there's no internet in my new house yet. Gonna blog in this favourite camp site of all Nottingham student - the Computer Lab (operates for 24 hours). There are a few foundation students working with something. Ah~ things are all back to normal now.

My Summer Break in KK

Things go normal for a fresh graduate like me at the beginning, finish exam - back to hometown - post resume online - receive calls from companies for interviews - graduation ceremony (!) There goes the breaking point of my normal life. Honestly, some part in me still cannot accept that I'm going to further my studies.

Being apart from my keyboard for such a long time, the fire for playing it really goes off (time can really change someone). However, I'm still checking on the new Yamaha PSR-s910. I wonder if it's for something else, will it be the same too? Let's say, if I don't go to church for such a long time, things would be real bad.

Well, God has a plan for everyone. I'm sticking with my 12 years long lost old-pal, he ended up being a church staff and a pretty good cell group leader. Thinking that, God already planned this summer break for me as He put him in my life 12 years ago, that's so awesome!

Like I always say, I'll definitely learn new things when I visit others' church. Thanks to him, I learnt a lot, I enjoyed a lot, I met new people and I sneaked out from house a lot! Anyway, blending into a place with totally different culture takes some effort, and I'm not into it.

So... time has come for me to leave home again for another brand new chapter of life. This is going to be so much challenging, disgusting and torturing. Blog Renovation 2

It was more than 14 months since the previous blog renovation. I'm kinda cool with the previous one but just a feeling of change (since I really don't feel like doing anything else).

Mainly, I'm revolving around some silver and green stuffs this time. I used the macro shot of bird nest and graduation hat that I took back in uni *Yeah, I graduated! Adding some smudge effect using Photoshop, I can really blend the picture and wallpaper together, with some feather/leaf kind of transition. I designed the text "Hearing is a sense, listening is an art", that took quite long though.

Now the content background, I still love using repeating pattern to make an infinite repeating background. It was quite contrast with very obvious black and gold revolving light, coz of the text, it must be brightened (more than 300%). The silver ray sidebar blends quite well with the whole thing.

I'm so in love with Photoshop's smudge tool, using it everywhere. I draw my own green flames (although they look like grass) using the tool, acting as the frame for the content. The transition from content to sidebar looks great too. Oh ya, I finally change the page background, now it's green green bamboo~!

Oh ya, blogger's HTML editor and designing has changed quite a bit since the previous year. It's not too hard, but I studies all over the HTML codes and found that they can do new things to the page title text. This is so cool~

Singapore... Duh

For the first time in 13 years, I'm boarding an international flight to Singapore on Wednesday. Erm... anyway, I'm still going through AirAsia (0 fare), so it doesn't felt any much exciting even when I'm in the plane. Nothing much to do in the plane, except planetshaking, not bringing my laptop too.

OK, there was some excitement when I'm arriving. There are countless ships "parking" near the shore of Singapore. This is what I call a port, wonder if Penang and Melaka are like that too. The time taken traveling to Singapore is almost the same as to KL =.=

Wow, next thing up is the airport, awesome design. Seriously, it looks super alike to KLIA. Overall, this place is cleaner and the people looks more educated. Guess what, we got a Mercedes taxi to the hotel! I've never seen some of the cars on the road, but definitely no proton caught in sight.

I'm coming over with my mum and aunt, not mainly for holiday, there's some business to do. Thus, we're staying in a "budget" hotel, actually not bad, it's at Thomson Road (convenient traffic) and quite clean too, but I prefer Mid Valley's hotel.

Well, I guess maybe I'm in the center of town. Bus and MRT service are seriously good. They come often, they are fast, clean and... consider cheap. I wonder if it's still the same if I stay in somewhere like Semenyih in Singapore. Honestly, for a Singaporean to experience KTM... I can't imagine.

Since we're just spending 2 days and 2 nights, not much of shopping done. Well, the stuffs are almost the same in any hyper mall... considering the Sing dollar exchange rate, I'll prefer to buy those in KL. I ended up came back buying nothing, but ate a lot.

Before It Starts

Hey... it's already 2 weeks since graduation, haven't been blogging much since then, life is so not interesting lately. Looking back at some blog posts, I just realized God had really blessed my life with lots of interesting events and people.

I think one of the biggest stuff I did lately was visiting KK's Pikom PC Fair in 1 Borneo. Just walking around aimlessly, I'm not in a mood to buy anything new for myself. Anyway, got a weird looking webcam for my home desktop, my mum asked "why is there an ET standing on my computer?".

I haven't been doing anything lately, except replaying the pokemon games. Completed the FireRed version and now working on Sapphire. I still can't get myself a perfect HeartGold & SoulSilver ROM, maybe it's still new. Anyone got a better link to provide?

Haha, my gaming spirit really dies out a lot, compare to how serious I was in gaming few years ago. By the way, I finally fix the gameboy linking problem, now I can trade pokemon within versions ^_^.

I haven't got my offer letter yet, so it's not official. Seriously, the dreadful life of next 3 years keep on haunting me. I couldn't sleep soundly for these few days~ Arghhh! Can't imagine how will I live along, since I'd started complaining even before I start my research life.

Tarap

This is a post for the West Malaysian that scratch their heads whenever we from Borneo said Tarap. Tarap (also known as Marang)is a fruit that found in Borneo. I thought it's just a common fruit but it caught me in surprise when nobody from Peninsular has any idea about it.

How tarap looks like:

It's a seasonal fruit, I'm not sure when is the season but it's lucky to get each for RM3. If I'm going to describe this thing by word... it somehow looks like jackfruit, cempedak and breadfruit. That's how we describe school time hairstyle, "tarap head".

I would say this is one of the best fruit in my list. Knowing that it's a special in Bornuo, add on the uniqueness of its flavor ^_^ Every little white fruit has a seed inside. You guyz don't know one of the greatest thing about eating tarap is spitting out the seeds.
