Children Christmas Party

There was worship practice at CBC yesterday. First time playing in Tat Hee's team, but the most challenging thing for me was all the Christmas songs. I'm so not used to Christmas songs, they're like another level of hymns. Well, something funny was, I'm in the team with Bryan, Ivan and Marcus again, 3 times in a row.

During worship practice:

After that, we were busy preparing for the Children's Christmas Party. I'm mainly helping Shan Berg playing the Christmas songs while he leads the children to sing (again... another Christmas wave T_T). We also helped a lot in logistic and decorations.

Opened up church's foyer, it looked a lot bigger:

The party started at 3 p.m, the place was crowded with children and parents sitting at the back. First item was singing songs, which was Shan Berg's show time. Luckily Bryan was helping with his guitar, I have no confident providing all the beats and chords with the upright alone.

See how crowded it was:

The party went on with children reading session... and painting/drawing session. I'm not there from this point onwards, was practicing another song with Stephanie upstairs. However, I can see from the pictures, it's a huge mess.

Children busy painting on the floor:

Let's take a glance at another room, some of them were preparing snacks for the children. If I were there, I would have ate some on the spot, but I believe somebody already did that. *hehe*

Yummy snacks and the crew:

I guess... they continued with a few more games. The children did enjoy themselves I believe. Anyway, thank God I'm not there during the climax of chaos. I have no confident in staying calm facing them (no patience).

Beans transferring game?

"For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ."

Lord, I pray so that You may raise this new generation for Your glory. They are the light in future that spreads Your gospel. Also pray that as Christmas draws near, may You grant us unity in the events we are doing. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
