Tze's Pre-Birthday Surprise

The same day I finished my last paper, was in Semenyih in the morning, rushed to Cheras in the afternoon for worship practice, and now I'm in... Mid Valley!!! It's not purely just for a after-exam relaxing session, it's for this long-planned birthday surprise for Tze by his girlfriend.

We booked Spaghetti Grill but we mistaken as Spaghetti Farm :P

There were too many complications =.= I need to rush over straight after worship practice (thanks for somebody that willingly pick me there and so sorry for the trouble), Shaun and Audri were still choosing a gift, Charmaine was giving alert that she and Tze are arriving soon!

Wow... headache, but was fun hiding around not to be noticed by them. Then we successfully "gave him a surprise" although he showed the calm face (I think...). Not bad la, a reunion of our band members after 2 years, but most of them are no more single (ish...).

Dinner in Spaghetti Grill:

Some of Tze's church members were there too, I remembered visiting them for a Sunday to go for Planetshakers concert in the evening. Being surrounded by strangers (except Tze), I was totally kekok (that's how he describe). Well, I think I was so much better now, at least I still can talk to them.

Continue with the side dishes:

Nadia prepared the "birthday cake", it was Tze's favourite... original flavour Crispy Cremme. Can't deny that it's a unique one, hope he had fun with that.

Birthday cake and birthday wish:

Time to reveal our gift, we bought him 2 boxers from F.O.S~ happy leh? You don't have to mention how touched you are, we understand (evil laugh~). Wow, it's so late that we have to get the bill settled. Thanks Charmaine for making this reunion possible and I enjoyed this "last dinner" as a student :P

Birthday present and bill:

"And my honesty will testify for me in the future, whenever you check on the wages you have paid me."
-Genesis 30:33

It's been a good time seeing old churchmates and knowing everyone's doing good. Indeed we're not together, but as we hold strong in His teachings, we will soon gathered again, just as what we've been told 2 years ago. Let our path be led by the spirit of truth, In Your gracious name we pray, Amen.

Nottingham War 4

It's been a super super long time since I posted anything, coz of the crazy exam period =.= However, I'm free from this day onwards!!! It's the last day of exam! Look at the nervous and excited faces as we stand before the exam room.

Trying to peep inside:

After 2 hours of torturing moment in the exam room (the paper was freaking hard), we're finally free! Most of us either had plans after that, or are rushing back home, only a few of us that have a few minutes got to take some final pictures around.

Me and 大哥:

I finally nailed down Nottingham:

So~ what's my plan? I got myself someone that's going to KL. Since Cheras is on the way, I hop on and arrived far more earlier than worship practice time (yeah... I'm in the band again). It was all empty in the church when I arrived, luckily Ivan came after split minutes.

They got a full band list til Dec... nothing to do with me :P

It's gonna be my last Saturday with them, how come they're still making my life so difficult with the hymns and scores? Too bad, I need to rush to some other places after practice, not much time to spent with them.

Time for practice:

"It is because the Lord has seen my misery"
-Genesis 29:31
-

Thanks Lord for answering our prayer, and bring us through this hard time. May our futures be in Your hands. In Your most gracious name we pray, Amen.

Pre-Graduation Syndrome (PGS)

Ah~ I've done my second paper, and it's one more week til I'm done with uni life! Although I have 2 weeks break before the exam started, everyone knew serious study will only come around 2 or 3 days before the paper. I expected the same this time, too bad... I'm still in the "who cares about it" mood til now~ T_T

Aw~ this is what I called Pre-Graduation Syndrome (PGS), which I just can't wait til liberty comes, and I couldn't care much bout exam now *So SIENZZZZ*. Sometimes it might be better to just wake up early and go out with housemates for a breakfast (but we played cho dai di til 4 a.m the night before =.=).

Waking up at 9 a.m and here we are, Semenyih town:

The feeling of old town =.=

Anyway, the exam schedule for this sem is nicely spaced out, unlike the previous semesters which put two hectic subjects 2 days in a row or even 2 papers in a day! I sometimes do think it's just torturing me til the last day of exam, most of the people are done with all the papers and back home now =.=
  • Fiber Reinforced Composite (15th May)
  • Management Studies B (20th May)
  • Heat Transfer (25th May)
  • Control and Instrumentation (29th May)

Guess what, I found myself a whole empty tutorial room and able to use it for study. Well, it was really quiet, but I got enough space for all the notes and I'm not facing my laptop ^_^. However, it's undeniable that the next paper is gonna drain out all my soul no matter how hard I study.

Whole afternoon studying:

Hey~ I just noticed it's a very rare opportunity for me to be in a classroom ALONE and with camera. Here are the tools that a lecturer uses to deliver lectures, these cool gadgets are never found in Nilai College. I'm so impressed when I first saw these.

A PC in every tutorial room, and mic:

"Camera" to display hardcopy on screen, all in hp:

"The Lord did exactly what he had promised."
-Genesis 21:1
-

Pray that Lord, You will continue to show us mercy and bless us upon the coming papers. Also pray for those who had finished exam, pray for journey mercy as they return to their respective home towns. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Visiting KLBCC

Yeah~ Another church visit, but this time, it's still a Baptist church. The ConneXion gang visited KLBCC(Kuala Lumpur Baptist Cheras Center). This is the church Sarah and Hannah attend. Talk about it, I haven't really visited their church, although we're in the same bible study group throughout my study in Nottingham University, luckily I made it before I graduate.

KLBCC entrance:

When we walked in, some of the adults even know me (despite being there for the first time). Wow~ am I really that famous among baptist churches? Not bad, quite a calming atmosphere I would say. The place is kinda well-equipped, but not much people came (maybe 100+). It's more towards a family church, when it's time for Sunday School, all the children went downstairs and the whole right wing's gone.

Worship service in KLBCC:

The worship band is really tight together, Hannah's worship leading by the way. Aww... they even got worship team review after service... >_< no wonder everyone is so good. Oh ya, their holy communion is every third Sunday, so we hop in at the right time.

Holy communion:

Finally, lunch time! It finished earlier than we usually did in CBC, but waking up early still makes me hungry fast. We wandered around the area and finally bump into this claypot restaurant. Looks nice though.

Some random claypot restaurant in Cheras:

Nice but slightly expensive lunch:

I don't think I need to mention, the weather is SOOOO HOOOOT!!! Fuh~ once we reach ConneXion house just now, we can't resist but to have some ice cream before coming back home~ There goes a Sunday, study lor study lor.

Dessert in ConneXion house:

"Return to your mistress and submit to her authority."
-Genesis 16:9
-

It's exam week already, may The LORD showers His blessings on us. Let us has a peaceful heart and clear mind to study, and score well for His glory. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Pre-Exam Shopping

Another nervous yet boring day as exam is just 3 days away! However, I need to run some errand, and I'm here at Mid Valley this morning ^_^ It wasn't that long since I came, but it's been months since I walk here alone. It's "digital week" this week, digital gadgets (Sony, lenova, acer, machine, hp ...) are all around.

Walk around first:

Time to play with my zoom:

My main objective here today, is New Balance. I got this information the last time I came, if you gave them a pair of old shoe (regardless of any brand), you will receive a certain amount of rebate of certain shoes (this offer last til 16th May). I got myself RM 100 rebate from a RM 399 shoe, it's almost 75% off! Haha!

Cool promotion title, Dump Your Ex:

Another motive out is to check out how do I deal with my Maxis broadband after I left Semenyih. I was just trying my luck since the main center is in KLCC. Surprisingly, there's a proper Maxis center in Gardens. Cool~ I could suspend my account for a period of time until I find myself a new place to settle, by just calling the customer service.

Maxis at 3rd floor opposite Papa Rich:

Besides that, I'm of course here to fill my appetite after being "closed" in Semenyih for a few weeks. Nothing much~ just the same few stuffs as usual ^_^ I kinda feel a critical damage to my wallet...

Grilled Lamb Chop, 珍珠奶茶:

龟苓膏, Chicago Cheese Cake:

Well, not much slacking is allowed. Poor thing... I took out my notes and studied in Coffee Bean. Haiz... not much things to do already, better go back early and continue study.

Time to go back:

"I will make you a blessing to others"
-Genesis 12:2

Stress is rising, pray for the students of Nottingham University and also other students that are facing exams a healthy body and alert mind. Wish everyone all the best! In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
