I actually shouted at the door step of sports center, heard the receptionist laughing as well. But but but it's so COOL! and cold... A badminton soc member offered to pick me back by his car, who saved me from 30 minutes of torture by the temperature and thick snow.
Reach home and dash out immediately:
Curiosity and adventure took over, I put my stuffs back into my room, grab my camera and dashed out for a walk around Dunkirk, in the heavy snow. It's hard to walk, but the whole feeling is amazing, it's like the real arrival at UK. All the path are covered by snow, except the roads where cars pass by often. The cars parked beside the road are like ice kacang.
Street walk in snowy Dunkirk:
The next place to go is Lakeside, the whole field is flat and white. None of the grass can be seen, even the path way. The whole lake is frozen, except a small portion of remaining water where I found 3 swans enduring the cold. To my surprise, a lot of the local came to visit at this time, they must have missed the snow so much~
So many cars parked at Lakeside cafe:
OK, I'm done with having fun taking picture and the north pole experience. On my way back, I stopped by at Sean's place to keep warm, partly because I'm still quite excited and wanna disturb him a bit. Those who stayed here for a few years don't seem happy at all about the snow, but I'm actually pretty glad about it.
Finally back home after a short stay at Sean's place:
"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."

Another new experience that one can never get in Malaysia. Pray that God bless the residents here in UK as the sudden drop in temperature, let not accidents or sickness fall on us as this new semester begins. Also, thank You Lord for making this place so beautiful, Amen.
