Nilai Worship 9th Anniversary

This time, I'm back to Nilai for the special event, the Sunday service's 9th year anniversary celebration. Reach student house on Saturday evening with Nelson and start practicing for the next day's worship. Yeah~ it's Arabic food for dinner again, the super tender lamb meat!

Worship practice and dinner:

It's my first time using the new shoplot for worship. The Chan family prepared this place for more future plans, if possible, this will be the venue of a new local church. But since it's new, we still do a lot of temporary setups, like what we did in college.

Setting things up:

As usual, we brought the keyboard, guitar and drum for worship session, all into the 4 inputs amplifier including mics. We had holy communion and Chris Abner to deliver a message on Matthew 8:28.

During the service:

After that, here comes some additional programs for the 9th anniversary. Charles showed a video of compiled pictures from 2002, and I see myself change (physically) throughout the years. There are presentations from kids and KTT students too.

Special programs:

For the cake cutting ceremony, each representative of their country get to put their flags on the cake. I represented Korea :P since the Korean students are not around. We actually got students from more than 15 different countries throughout the years. A growing family in Christ and for Christ.

We are a family:

"Settle down in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it will go well with you."
-2 Kings 25:24

Thank You Lord for showering your blessings continuously on this student ministry. I pray that this ministry will continue to grow and the students will also be a blessing as they continue their journey or return to their hometown. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
