Nilai Worship 2011 Camp (Night 1)

It's dinner time, the hotel restaurant actually reserve a place for us and we have buffet for dinner. Although not much choices, but they sure are some nice foods. The environment is pretty good too, chilling breeze and free time talking with some students.

Buffet dinner:

Back to the ballroom for the first teaching session about "Spiritual Gift", something that I knew but want to know more, that's why I'm here this weekend. We played a game called "tangram" which taught us with the few same pieces, many different shapes could be made. After filling up a questionnaire of our spiritual gift, there we go for sate!

Exercise and talk about spiritual gifts and sate!

The time given was kinda short but each group needs to perform a short skit about a given scripture passage. My group got the fall of Jericho, I was thinking, Oh my... after the uni Easter event, not skit again. But thanks God my group has a bunch of enthusiastic people that kinda lead that off. We kinda enjoyed that night.

Other groups performing their skits:

Here comes the last agenda of the day, "Light of the World". Basically, it's everyone of us holding a candle, walk to the park nearby and sing songs. If feels like a camp fire but this is really great, reminding us we often needs other to light us up when we're put off.

Our little light that shines in the dark:

Before ending the night, me, Robert, Cheryl and Charles joined the worship practice for tomorrow's service. Our rooms' balcony are connected and we just did it at the rooftop as we climb over the balcony. Lying down watching the moonlight while singing songs, best thing ever to do in a retreat.

"The LORD answered,''Go, I will deliver them into your hands.'”

What a great night of fellowship that the Lord has granted us. I pray that we really ponder back on the spiritual gift session and think about it. Pray that the Lord will guide us to our true path, and be the salt and light that shines for the world to see. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
