Christopher and Stephanie's Wedding

Last Saturday was Christopher and Stephanie's wedding. I was informed earlier to play the piano for this big day, accompanying Cheryl Yap from Singapore and Jonathan Chen from Penang, and I only get to meet them on the wedding day itself!

Florist decorating the sanctuary:

I stayed at church the night before, woke up at 4.15 am with Tim to pick up Jonathan at Bukit Jalil station. We practiced early for the whole morning (still in my pajamas). We managed to prepare everything before the ceremony, and here comes the bride!

Non-stop practice for the whole morning:

Yeah! Our march in song My Valentine and instrumental Bridal Chorus did good. I really like the worship session with Paul on the guitar (another great musician and friend of Christopher), the way he plays is really clean and solid. Besides that, Ivan and Cheryl sang I Finally Found Someone. Although never heard of it before, but both vocalists are superb, it was stuck in my head for the whole day.

Special performance by Cheryl and Ivan:

Ok, the faithful friends all over the world have blessed the ceremony with music. Finally it's the vow reading and ring exchange. Oh ya, Christopher did a surprise presentation, singing a song that he wrote for Stephanie, sweet leh~

Love song only for Stephanie, by Christopher:

The wedding kiss:

After the ceremony, I chat with a few of the musicians. No wonder they are so professional, they all have inspiring great musical background. Playing with great people really made my day, I'm glad to be here, to bless and be blessed.

Thank You Lord for blessing us this wonderful day, that marks the union of a lovely and god fearing couple. I pray that You will guide them to love each other more, and draw people nearer to You through this relationship. In Jesus I pray, Amen.
