Lakeside Cell Group

It's Thursday night again, time for CG (Cell Group or Care Group). This is a session for CF people to come together and have some fun and sharing. Of course, new comers are welcomed.

Due to some booking error, we don't do it at Dance Studio anymore. Struggling for a better place, we did it at a pretty nice place I would say. It's at the balcony of Admin Building, facing the famous Nottingham lake. So far, God has been faithful, to bless us with nice weather.

So what we normally do is ice-breaker, worship songs, and sharing session. Some new people are still very quiet although we did the sharing session in small groups of 5-7. The wind and peace is pretty nice, but I still prefer the beach in KK.

This time, I'm in the group led by Wen Shan. The topic is about forgiveness, besides scrolling around Matthew 18:21-35, we also shared some personal view and experience. Our outcome is, forgiveness is more than forgetting, but ideally include reconciliation and restoration (easy to say).

Worship and prayer:

Not compulsory but mostly... we will have our supper at some mamak stall after CG. Traditionally, we will always form long tables coz of the large crowd we have. As the busy-ness of uni life goes on, I bet this won't be as often anymore.

Pray that both CF and ConneXion will grow spiritually mature and also work together as one body in Christ to give an impact to the students in this campus. We wanna make a difference in this place that we are sent, for Your glory, Amen.
