Not a Good Day for Outing

The first ConneXion Semenyih outing of this academic year is supposingly hiking at Ah Pak San. Oh gosh, it has been ages since I woke up this early, and it was raining! There goes the starting of a bad day.

Woke up early and it was raining:

OK, we hoped that as we arrive the destination, the weather would be better. Luck is not on our side, we did arrive at the place... but it rains again (it actually stopped for a while during the journey). Oh great, 3 cars and 1 van just needed to renavigate to plan B, the place where we used to do boat pedaling.

Not so sure of the whereabout, GPS time:

We're finally here at Taman Tasik Perdana, the weather turned clear, but I wonder what's wrong with today, the boat pedaling service stopped because of renovation. Seriously, through all the troubles... we are too tired for plan C. So as well just fellowship around the garden.

Icebreaker and worship at Taman Perdana:

Thanks for Steven's efforts for making the breakfast sandwiches. We walked around and took some pictures too. Anyway, the water wasn't as clean as the previous visit. Maybe staying on land is a good idea after all.

Free time walking around:

It's already time for lunch, the chosen place is Leisure Mall. We're back at Wong Kok forming long tables again. Actually, the whole day wasn't too bad, at least we met a lot of new people and fellowship. Hope they don't mind, and may God bless our next outing.

Cheese baked pork chop:

"Then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you."
-Deuteronomy 30:3

I deeply believe there's no accident, and there's a reason for everything to happen. Teach us not to blame for this small obstacle, but let us see through the big picture. Also pray for understanding and unity among our ConneXion members. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
