Today is the Fresher's Night where the new intake of foundation students are attending CF for the first time. I went earlier to help them set up (around 5p.m), eventhough I don't really know them yet. Mainly, I'm just arranging chairs and help them to move the instruments (forever the same things that I always do).
Well, people turned up gradually. I don't know are they new or what cause I consider myself new in CF too. Socializing is just not my stuff, so I did some instrumental worship medleys on the keyboard to fill up the atmosphere while the committee members are still busy. Surprisingly, there's someone that recognized me, she remembered I played for the worship band in First Baptist Church sometimes ago (wow... I didn't know I was that famous :P).
Better than Malaysian timing, they came 10 minutes before it started:

Seems like I'm gonna work with her for this summer:

Like all other CFs, they have ice-breakers, worship music and sharing session. The topic of sharing today is about how to live the best life studying in UNMC, obviously it's advices from seniors to newbies. Anyway, the way of this student delivering his speech is quite good, audience attention is the priority throughout the sharing.
Finally, refreshment time. It's not dissapointing but I'm struggling while eating the food. The fried rice is so so so spicy... It's raining for me again. Nothing much after that, so let's call it a day.
Nasi goreng ayam?

"The LORD is good. When trouble comes, He is a string refuge. And He knows everyone who trusts in Him."

Pray that this Freshers Night would be a good start for the new students in UNMC. They will need a lot of blessings along the years to come, may God be with them. Also pray that the LORD will make them the reflectors to shine His light upon the people on this campus. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
