Mid Valley of December

Since I finished 2 assignments this week, I accompanied Audri to go to Mid Valley. It's quite a struggle before that, because I'll be having 2 lab sessions next week, and it'll keep me busy for at least 14 times 24 hours, so I better take this chance to catch up with my studies. However, I decided to go with Audri since the plan is only 9 morning until 5 something evening. He just want to buy something before going back to Sabah for Christmas.

Today morning, the trip to Mid Valley is financially exciting! We waited for the bus at TTS5 around 10a.m , and it came at 10.15a.m, but it passed us by. I thought the driver was gonna pick up the students from TTS4 first (which is further down the road), then he will stop for us when he came back out. Guess what? For the second time, the bus ignored us again! I remembered they said the bus driver has the right of not picking up anyone if the bus is full, but I never imagined it will be that harsh.

Luckily one of the student waiting there suggested that we call a taxi to Kajang KTM and we share the cost. Normally we will not doubt to say yes, but we need to agree after looking at our wallet this time. Imagine after the taxi and KTM, our condition of the wallet when we reached Mid Valley was: my wallet (RM4 and a 50 dollar Thai note), Audri's wallet (RM0) excluding some coins. It's not that we're too poor or what, we're just too lazy to walk up to uni and take money from the ATM machine

Mid Valley is decorated with all the christmas stuffs, it looks very nice. For the pass 2 years, I'll be heading back to KK directly after final exams in December, so I don't think I had ever visited Mid Valley in December. There're 11 christmas trees at the Centre Court! Of course, the first ever thing we did when we reached Mid Valley was to get some financial reinforcement from the ATM! After I withdrawed money that I think is enough, Audri is still in the line, so I snaped some pictures around.

Something weird happened, Audri's withdrawal is rejected by RHB ATM machine. So he shifted to Maybank ATM, the same thing happened. So we went to RHB bank which is just outside Mid Valley. The staff troubleshot the ATM card and told us the chip has spoiled, Audri has to bring his bank book in order to change a new card. I ended up borrowing him some ammount of money. Don't worry, I can trust Audri for that, he's not someone else.

Then, we spent some time in MPH bookstore. Audri seems to recover from his emotional unbalance after buying books writen by his favourite writer which are Turning Thirty and My Legendary Girlfriend by Mike Gayle (don't ask me, I don't know him either...). It's lunch time! We went to Kim Gary, although there's a queue to wait, seems like it won't take long. So we entered in less then 5 minutes waiting time and ordered food. I turned back and have a look outside, and the queue was really great (we always have good timing ^_^).

Honestly it's quite a short queue before we entered:

Audri's 上海排骨菜饭 and my 番茄猪排会意粉:

The queue outside when we're eating:

After that, we had some walk around. We went to CD shop, pet shop, F.O.S and some more, until we decided to have a break at Coffee Bean. As usual, I'll be walking faster than Audri, and just before we reached Coffee Bean, Audri shouted "UIH?!!!" I turned back and found someone! Someone that we didn't expect to encounter.

Allow me to present, 3 of the Nilai top Engineers (in Coffee Bean)!

Yupz! It's Jason Wong! Mechanical Engineering May 06 intake, same as Hinn and Audri. My senior in Nilai and also my final project teammate. It's quite hard for me to admit this, but he's one of the very best and closest (non-KK) coursemate of mine (I mean... us including Audri and Hinn). Again, I try to resist my facial emotion of being overwhelmed, telling myself "calm down, don't lost control, act cool." Honestly, I'm quite happy (ok lah... I'll just say it, I'm very glad) meeting him again.

He's suppose to be in Sabah. Even if he came, I never thought that we can meet each other just like that. He was just wandering around Mid Valley alone, currently staying in Nilai until he complete his registration in Monash University in Sunway. The world is quite small indeed, or maybe we still have unfinish business with each other? How amazing God put people together, haha. 有缘天涯何处不相逢.

We decided to extend our day in Mid Valley until we finished dinner instead of going back at 3p.m or 4p.m. We had a nice time chatting and walking around. It's quite rare that I enjoyed a walk in Mid Valley when I'm with someone else, I usually prefer walking alone. Also, we took more of the chirstmas trees' pictures as well.

Also never forget my favourite bubble tea!

What we're gonna have for dinner? That's a very famous question that we didn't asked since we left Nilai. After a long survey all around Mid Valley, we ended up in Domino Pizza. I forgotten the golden rules of having pizza, never go with odd number of people, cause it'll be quite hard to divide the portion. Although we said it's OK for us to go for anything, but Jason don't take beef, and (even worse...) I don't take onion, green pepper, and spicy stuffs. Haha, so "anything" is still limited.

We ordered BBQ Chicken and Aloha Chicken:

After dinner, it's time for us to go back, we'll stop at Kajang while Jason gonna head back to Nilai. There's nothing to shop anymore, but I still don't feel satisfied. Anyway, don't be sad because it's over, smile because it happened. I saw this phrase at someone's T-shirt, and it flashed through my mind. As usual, KTM station will be so crowded.

Actually, before I went out this morning, I'm thinking is it neccessary to bring along my camera. I wished to blog my day at Mid Valley, but if it's just a normal walk, there'll be nothing special. Besides, it'll be troublesome for me to hold my camera all day long. Anyway, I brought my whole bag with me just to put my camera, and surely I'll regret if I didn't do it. Thinking about how wonderful today is, I received a message from Jason when I stepped out Kajang KTM station (the message below is exactly what I received, words by words).

"Hey dude, gladly 4 2day... I'll gv u a call if i can make it to ur place on mon.. Tc"

Cause Monday is a public holiday, Jason may stop by our place to pay a visit. Hey pal, I know you'll be reading this post. Thanks for the day too, all the best for you at Monash University. As I told you, the first few weeks might be hard for us direct Year 2 entry students, but once you go through it, everything will go on smoothly. Hope that we'll be partners again as graduate engineers in the future. *You really need to appreciate, Adam will not simply say these kind of things*

In Song of Songs chapter 8 verse 6 and 7, "Place me like a seal over your heart, or like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, and its jealousy is as enduring as the grave. Love flashes like fire, the brightest kind of flame. Many waters cannot quench love; neither can rivers drown it. If a man tried to buy love with everything he owned, his offer would be utterly despised." Love is indeed the greatest element that brings us human together. Nevertheless, it's all because of love, the greatest love ever, Jesus died on the cross for us. The absense of love will bring forth pain and sadness. I'm not really ready for a guy & girl relationship yet, but I think I can practice loving my FRIENDS (haha, finally I said the word). Through fellowship we understand each other, through understanding we spread love, through love the world will be a better place, that's what I believe. Congrats to some of the Nilai students who finished their final, gam ba teh for those who are still struggling. LORD I pray that you will continue to shine your almighty light and love upon your faithful children. I pray for Nilai, Inti and KTT students who finished their exam, may LORD bless them in their next challenges. As well for Nottingham students that will be facing exam next month. Let Your unfailing love helps us through the storm. Thanks for everything LORD, once again you amazed me. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
