The 8th Time at Cinema in My Life

The day started for me at 11a.m that I thought it will be another ordinary Friday. I worked on my report for the whole morning and afternoon, also with some anime in the between (just finished 25 episodes of Final Fantasy Unlimited that I started about 3 weeks ago). It was supposingly the due date for my last report, but seems it's extraordinary hard (we can't understand it and we just don't get it), the lecturer used up a lecture period to discuss with us about it. The conclusion was, there're some problems that he needs to go through again and the due date is extended until 5th Jan 09 (Ya, it hurts to study for exam with undone work).

As usual, Friday evening will be my badminton time with the staffs. Ali invited Raimi (Lecturer in Nilai Uni College) to join us, we used to play in Nilai together. After a few matches, they were discussing with Jack Tsui (previously studying in Nilai Uni College and graduated, now working in KL) on the phone for a night movie. They were wandering long enough on the cinemas' websites and finally the decision is made, it will be When The Earth Stood Still in Sunway Pyramid 10.45p.m.They started to call anyone that will possibily join them, and I'm in the list, It'll be my first movie after joining Nottingham. So I went back, had a shower, and joined them, with my camera ^_^.

Night view of Sports Complex:

I'm in Ali's car from Nottingham Uni til Restaurant Malaysia in Kajang for sate. It took us about 1 hour to reach there because of some wrong turns and pasar malam that causes the traffic. We don't really have enough time to sit down and relax, but tasted some chicken sates. Honestly they're good. So we hopped in Raimi's car and speed to Sunway Pyramid (quite worried that we're late since it's a science fiction movie), average speed was 180 km/h, and we made it at Sunway within 30 minutes.

Traffic jam in Kajang:

In Restaurant Malaysia with their famous sate:

Met Rueben (one of the DSA officer in Nilai, then changed to marketing department, and now working in Methodist College KL) and Rizal (Raimi and Ali's friend?) that joined us for the movie. I'm quite impressed that they can get 6 people at those time somemore it's a sudden decision. We still made it to grab some foods and drinks, and entered cinema at 10.50p.m. Luckily its still showing the comercials (Yey, we're not late).

By the way, for those who are curious about the title of this blog, this is my 8th time watching movie in a cinema (Yupz, throughout my whole life). I can still list them out:

  • Titanic (with parents)
  • Day After Tomorrow (with mum and mum's friend
  • Pirates of Caribbean 2 (1st semester in Nilai with new friends
  • Night in the Museum (with Wennie and Fiona in Centre Point, KK)
  • Pirates of Caribbean 3 (with Carl and his friends after a KL trip)
  • Warlord 投名状 (with Sophia and one of her friend at Centre Point, KK
  • Narnia 2, Prince of Caspian (with Ivan, Siew Rui and Dexter and Seremban)
  • When The Earth Stood Still (just now with Ali, Rueben, Raimi, Jack and Rizal at Sunway)

  • The thing I don't like about watching movie is, my blood won't circulate well to my leg after long hours of sitting still. So far the movie is OK, I like the theory, where aliens gonna clear the human race because we're killing the Earth. The best phrase is "If the Earth dies, you die; if you die, the Earth continues to live." I like it at the beginning were the US government are gathering scientists to investigate the approaching aliens, I would prefer to watch more on how the team works. But c'mon! It's a movie, so please do something with the bombastic and nerve-killing scenes, the movie was kinda monotone all the way.

After the movie, 6 of us had a little discussion about it at the toilet. Then we had a little chat with Rueben on the way to the car park, and we sent Jack home. Now I'm back to Semenyih again at 2.00a.m. It feels good to have some Ex-Nilai people gathering together, but these are all upgraded people compare to last time (including me ^_^). It's hard to deny how life changes in just a click. We were all strangers when I first came to Nilai, and there're times that we worked together for events and stuffs, and now we're going seperate ways now, that's life. Here comes the phrase again, "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened".

The super nice toilet in Sunway:

Plenty of empty car parks and closed shop lots:

Today, I'm reading Isaiah 14, in verse 24, The LORD Almighty has sworn this oath:"It will all happen as I have planned. It will come about according to my purposes." Rueben told me today that companies in Malaysia prefers graduates from Nottingham Uni, especially engineers. LORD, I pray that You'll be with me and help me in my purpose in this campus. Audri and Nelson are also back to KK and PJ respectively to help out in their own ministry, I myself will be back in Nilai too. LORD, I also pray that you made good use of us to expand Your glorious kingdom, let us be in Your wonderful plan. Finally, I would like to pray for all of the students (Nottingham, Nilai, Inti, KTT) that are spending their holidays at home. Merry christmas to everyone, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I'm the kind of guy who loves to seek hot stuff. Presently I'm making my private photovoltaic panels. I am making it all by myself without the aid of my men. I am using the internet as the only way to acheive this. I ran across a really awesome site which explains how to make photovoltaic panels and so on. The web site explains all the steps required to solar panel construction.

I am not exactly sure about how correct the info given there iz. If some experts over here who had xp with these works can have a see and give your feedback in the site it will be great and I'd highly value it, cause I truly enjoy solar panel construction.

Thanks for reading this. U guys are the best.
