Segovia Day Trip

An hour of bus ride from Mardrid, here we are at Segovia. This quiet town really give me much favor after few days in the crowded city. There is this huge gate called old roman aqueduct, around 2000 years old, still complete and functional and no mortar is used between stones!

Old roman aqueduct:

We visited some other place like the huge cathedral and museum. It's not a very big place, probably 4-5 hours would be enough for the whole town. Although the museum is weird, but it's definitely better than those in Madrid.

Cathedral and museum:

Next, we're up for the main reason we're here, the world ranking no.2 castle where Walt Disney took their inspiration. Oh yeah, it's really HUGE! Breathe taking scenery around the place as well, looks just like one of the Final Fantasy map. We actually paid to enter the castle for a visit.

Outside and inside of the castle:

There's a separate ticket that grants entrance to the tower, which is a spiral staircase to the highest spot of the castle, the scenery is even more splendid. We then leave the castle and randomly walked around the area, and found a lot of nice shooting spot of the castle from afar.

Top of the world:

"May the arrogant be put to shame for wronging me without cause; but I will meditate on your precepts."
-Psalms 119:78

Thank God for another lovely place that I enjoyed visiting. Although it's small, the amazing scenery really amazed me. Highly recommended for anyone who is planning for a trip to Spain. May the blessing of The Lord be with us all, Amen.
