January Birthday Marathon

What a blast for the first week of the year, four people that I knew in Nottingham University are having their birthday this week! Somemore it's not any random person, they're people that I'm kinda close with recently (or very long ago), so the celebrations are a MUST.

After celebrating for Uncle Chan's birthday at Nilai on 2nd, it's Pei Wern's birthday on 4th Jan. I had a long chat with Joseph (her housemate) the night before, until 12 midnight, some other CF people came and gave her a bash.

After some chit chat, we went out for supper. Thinking that the night is over soon, we were all a little too naive about that. Wen Shan so felt like wanna go for DOTA at a nearby cyber cafe. So 7 of us, played 2 rounds for that night, and the time we reached home that night was near insane (first time playing DOTA in cyber for me).

Next one, 5th Jan, is Nelson's birthday. The night before (as usual, waiting for 12am to strike), we gather a few ConneXion people, sneak in and black out the house. I just bought him one piece of cake ^_^ So everyone watched him eat that cake~ until he finished ^o^ And guess what, I got him 1 kg of Milo powder as birthday present.

6th Jan, it's Wen Shan's birthday. Since the excitement has not fade, we went for another DOTA night again :P After that, we carried him around and do some funny stuffs~ (detailed content enclosed). Hoho, got improvement eh, I killed the most heroes in one of the games ^_^ Thanks to Melody who buy item for me and let me KS.

On the day itself, we had a birthday lunch for Wen Shan, with CF gang and uni friends. Two large tables in the restaurant, I guess there're 20 of us. Sarah's mum baked him mango cake, and he even got an iTouch from all of us. You sorta wanna laugh when you see his amazed face.

Finally, it's Benjamin's birthday on 7th Jan (last of the series). For a new guy in uni, we gave him a super big bash. It started slow, just feeding him cake, rubbing on his face, then we pace up with some messy make up XD and we ended the day with some water splashing at the fountain.

Crazy birthday for Ben Ben:

Sorry to say, for 2 years in this uni, it's my first time playing water with the fountain. Heard that after we left, he got another wave of birthday cake smash and fountain war by his classmates. Wow... so popular for a newbie.

As I pause and think about it, I changed a lot through the years. Doing things for people's birthday, I think I just care a bit too much. Anyway, I thank God for blessing me these wonderful companies. Pray for all the January babies, and also for the students' exam. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
