Crash In A Conference

Today we went to Sunway Pyramid, accompanying Milor for his poster presentation conference. Woke up 7:30 am in the morning (zzz) to meet up with the others in office (total 4 of us, meeting another one at the place). After 1 hours of ride, we're here in Sunway Pyramid.

Chinese New Year decoration:

The conference is at Sunway Hotel, we found our way there and guess what we find~ free food! Actually it's for the conference guests, but I think we can just join. It's my first time in a conference, not my paper, but I finally understand the craving of free food from the postgrad students in phdcomic.

Conference food:

Different from normal conference, this is a poster presentation. Candidates prepare their poster (8 A4 slides) and stick it on their board, then guests will walk around. They should be standing beside their board to explain their concepts. It's truly international, there're people from UK, China, Middle East and Korea.

During conference presentation:

The conference ends at 12 noon, not too long actually. We head for lunch at Hartz, a place for chicken buffet. Surprisingly, we got ourselves 30% discount for lunch promotion! From RM 24 to RM16.80, good day indeed, but I'm still kinda filled up with the conference foods.

Entering Hartz:

Whao... just 5 pieces of chicken, I'm almost done (but I prefer the quality of the previous visit, this time aint't that nice). After a little rest, I still manage to grab some side dishes, desserts and fruits. Chit chat for a while, then continue with some shopping. Haha, we ended up leaving Sunway Pyramid at 4:30 pm, a total of 7 hours in that place.
