4th Month of PostGrad

It's the work update again, can't believe it's already 1/3 years since I entered this miserable life. The best part so far was... the 2 weeks Christmas holiday. Other than that, I'm still kinda stuck in my lab. Oh ya, a big progress is that my equipment is now working with double solenoid (one replacing the permanent magnet).

Messy lab and new configuration:

Some new toys that I had is the bubble accelerometer, with this thing I could really keep my equipment straight. Also, we bought a lot of crocodile clips, at least the messy circuits are now more safety.

Accelerometer and crocodile clips:

The scariest thing is... my senior that just graduated (now a Dr) is back to Nottingham as a new lecturer. He actually designed a control system with LabView that can replace a DC power supply and function generator *so pro weh~*. Just one simple window, and it's able to manipulate the DC solenoid.

A visual controller through data acquisition:

Well, I really hope that experimental part is sorta done, but this doesn't mean the end of frustration. More to come... is the hate-of-all-time journals reading, and my next stage is to derive the mathematical model. Just imagine I need to write out an equation that describe the solenoids functionality, and solve it with Matlab, Arghhh! Lord... help me.

Annoying paper works:

"And about the matter you and I discussed—remember, the LORD is witness between you and me forever."
-1 Samuel 20:23

In this stressful time that we face, I pray that The Lord will grant us with wisdom and not make is discourage. Pray for all of the students who are having exam, let it be an opportunity to glorify His name. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
