Vincent's Birthday

Yesterday was my senior's birthday, though just knowing him for... 2 weeks, he's really nice to me. Our colleagues really know how to throw a party (adult style). For this kinda HSBC (High Stress Bachelors Condition), I think that's necessary.

At night, we went to Green Box at Cheras Selatan to celebrate again, and it's my first time ever in Karaoke. The first thing that impressed me is the free flow of food until 10pm~ Wow, I can't care more about singing but just to sweep all the food first.

Until I realize, it was actually quite cool in the room. They have 2 screens, one for the music videos with lyrics, one for song selection with all sorts of artists, and another button pad for some equalizing and control. It seriously amazed me for 30 seconds playing around with the song selection.

This is so cool!

There were 10 of us, so we split to 2 rooms (for English and Chinese songs each room). Singing with others can be quite fun, regardless of harmonizing or some other skills, just shouting along feels really great. Haha, we sang from 8pm til 1am at night, marvelous.

It was discouraging before beginning my research life, but the Lord has show mercy. There are actually very nice people around (at least for now). May we continue to find encouragement in faith. Pray this all in Jesus name, Amen.
