I reached there at 1:30pm for pracrise as told, no one's in the great hall... I waited... setup my keyboard and played... and waited... Until they told me they were having a committee meeting (duh... am I the only musician that's not in the committee?). Then Zoe and Audrey rushed in with all the chords printed... but honestly it was killingly too much!
Until most of the band members arrive, we had an incredibly hard time doing sound test and setting up the equipments (insufficient amp, plug points not working...) Seriously it pissed me off somehow, but we manage to settled things down with minimum practise (that's what spontaneous band means).
Haiz... didn't do a good job, I really need to walk around and get some fresh air. Some of the committees are setting things outside, preparing food and the message boards for graduating people. OK, this one looks really like a complete event although it's summer.
Went back in to the hall, it's sharing time. They had pastor giving sermon about opportunity in working places, previous CF staff sharing, certificate given to previous committee and introducing the new committee members. For a last minute event, those are considered quite well-planned.
Fuh~ tiring night, it all ended at around 11pm, but the farewell session at the lobby takes forever. Unconsciously, I promised Wen Shan for supper, but at Williams in PJ... so it's another crazy night driving to PJ, eat expensive food and come back (and it's already 4am when I reach home).
Supper at Williams:

"So let my lord go on ahead of his servant, while I move along slowly at the pace of the droves before me and that of the children, until I come to my lord in Seir."

Thank you Lord for placing me in this CF of Nottingham University, where we worked together as students to give You glory. I met a lot of nice people, learn a lot of things in cell group and worship. Pray that our separate paths will make us grow stronger in Your name, because Your words ring in us through CF. In Your gracious name I pray, Amen.
