After Sunday service, we went to a mamak shop for lunch. Seriously, I felt I didn't do well playing for worship that day, the mood was so messed up, so sorry to Lydia. Well, we had a big number going out for lunch, 2 long tables of youth!
After that, the SPM candidates went upstairs of the church to study. A few of us went up as well to tell them how to decide for future courses (no one ever told me those kinda things back then). On the other hand, the adults are preparing food for the night.
The Nottingham Boys were also around to give a hand (since we didn't prepare any dish). Earlier, we helped in the kitchen, setting up the tables and arranging the foyer so that more people can have place to eat. I called this "canteenizing" the place.
It was raining cats and dogs that evening, we're not worrying too much since our dinner was indoor. However, for the welfare of our guests, we the Nottingham Boys formed a special team, the Umbrella Squad. Our mission is to wait at the car park and escort the guests into church without getting too wet.
Finally the feast started. Look at the crowd, it's really a lot to feed, but most importantly they had fun spending time with each other. I couldn't care more but just eat and eat, I think I went 4 rounds. Besides, 2 kids are having their birthday celebration as well. What so special? We had really BIG durian cake!
While praying for the food:

Cake cutting ceremony:

Worshipers from Nottingham or lets just say, ConneXion Semenyih:

"The Lord, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you may get your sight back and be filled with the Holy Spirit."
-Acts 9:17-

Once again I pray for the SPM candidates, to know that it's for Your glory that we strife for good results. Also pray for us final year students that have hard time dealing with projects. Lord, show us Your mercies and wonders, that we will turn to You and know You're working in our lives. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
