A Summer-like Weekend

Finally it's weekend, I'm substituting Aunty Pooi Keng as pianist for last Sunday. Just nice, I just wanted to leave Semenyih after the stressful week (4 days doing project til 5 a.m) and relax somewhere. Thanks Shen for giving me a ride to Cheras, had a nice time sharing testimony too.

Lydia was worship leading, I knew I'm gonna learn new stuff joining her team, that's why I don't mind going. Another reason is because Bryan keeps on bugging me to come and teach him add math. Poor thing, SPM is few days away and he's still in the worship team. Really need to pray for this bunch of candidates.

Still OK with calculus questions, but when it comes to statistics, it's really digging my brain out. Just helped as much as I can, and when we noticed it's already night. We sent Bryan home, off to lunch with Tim, Adrienne and Ivy and shopped in Tesco for tomorrow's thanksgiving dinner.

It was a random idea, that we decided to bake a chocolate cake for supper in church. So, here we are searching recipe online and digging out the ingredients. Of course, the girls will do most of the stuffs while me and Tim were just fooling around until we got a great idea(!).

Me and Tim took the van out to hunt for some goodies, but just not sure whether it's still there since it's already 11 p.m. God is good, all the time. We got ourselves 3 durian (4.8 kg) with RM 22, good deal! Brought back and ate it outside church, Tim said never see me so happy while eating (of coz la, after the torturing week).

Let the king of fruits wash away all the bad things!

Hehe, the girls are done with the cake, and now it's our show time. Tim was spreading the chocolate topping, followed by cooling it a few minutes in the freezer. Then, here comes my creativity~ using the white chocolate to draw on the cake XD Then, by spreading the colourful decos around and it's done! Yipee, durian at 12 midnight and chocolate cake at 1 a.m, this is so good!

Lord, I pray that you will bless the SPM candidates: Bryan, Sophia, Julian, Eugene, Andrew and the others. As they walk into the exam hall, let the spirit guide them. May You deliver them to their path to fulfill Your kingdom, and let them be a greater servants through this hardship. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
