WinGS BBQ Night

It's time to pay Cheras Baptist Church(CBC) a visit. I attended WinGS(CBC Youths) BBQ Night on Saturday night, but arrived in the morning to help out (or mess up). When I arrived, Ivy, Adrienne and Wilson are busy preparing the marinating process, so I joined.

All the marinating ingredients:

Raw chickens and fishes (Yucks!)

Fuh~ Spent the whole morning and afternoon preparing food. Ivy said the number of people that's coming keep on increasing (last minute confirmations), that's why work never ends. However, being involved in WinGS always make me feel different, they're just incredible. The day is so busy but fun taking photos with Shi Ying and spreading my Blizzard Effects around.

I'm helping out with the garlic:

The fridge also full already:

Looks like it's gonna rain, but God has been faithful to us:

It's getting late, the people are arriving while I was still preparing the lucky draw with Ivan in the room. Anyway, it's obvious that the youths and some invited friends enjoyed the games hosted by Robert. The BBQ session is also doing good, credits to Wilson, Adrienne, Joel, Ivy and others who helped.

Our game master Mr.Robert who is working hard for the participants:

BBQ sessions, everything's fine:

Look at what we have (of course these are not everything):

Adrienne's fire power:

Finally, after some chit chat and eating, it's time to clean up (mess down). Weird, I volunteered to wash the dishes, maybe that's the only thing I know how to do. But it's not easy too, BBQ always have those super oily stuffs that take me the strength of moving an amp to clean it up. Almost everyone left, me and Tim mopped the kitchen and lobby since it's too oily, we ended up splashing water on the whole place ^_^.

I'm doing my job, seriously:

Haha, after everything, we sat down to chill a bit before calling it a day (and it's around 1.30 a.m). Robert looked like a zombie, but he really did a lot of things. It's the first time I'm staying overnight in the church. Hoho, 3 of us (me, Tim and Ivan) are sleeping together using one blanket. Spending a night in church is somehow exciting!

This is our bed:

The most unexpected thing is... they really went to my blog and listened my Draw Me Close, and they gave good responses. At least I see some hope when I thought it's another failure. We shared a lot of things before going to bed... and it lasts til 3.30 a.m before both of them snored.

Lord, thanks for blessing my time with CBC youths. Once again, you showed me how incredible things are done by the efforts of Your faithful followers. Pray that their church will overcome all hardships ahead. Also pray for Aunty Elizebath and Charles that are leaving to Leeds, UK for Carl's graduation, may they have a safe flight and bless their health. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
