When 3 Months Become 3 Weeks

Like most of the other students, I'm having my summer holiday which is 3 months long (Jun-Sep). At first, it seems like it's really a long period to just chill in Sabah. I even planned to go back to West Malaysia around late July just for fun.

Before going back to Sabah, I prayed that God will review the reason of putting me back in my hometown. All the while, I don't like going back to Sabah coz I have nothing to do, I can't go out, I'll get fat, I'll skip church and so on. However, this is a really different trip back, God has been faithful to me.

Now everyone can fly~ :P

As in the previous few post, I received a facebook invitation to attend Healing Rally by Nelson on the week I got back. I enjoyed the first night with his Cell Group members, I never imagined I could still be in this kind of event even I'm at home. How unpleasant, I recieved an e-mail the next day that I'm accepted for a research internship in Nottingham Uni, and I have to be back before 15th June (today), which is also... Nelson's birthday... HAIZ.

So the stay in Sabah reduced into 3 weeks. I should felt happy because I can leave sooner than I thought, but why am I feeling a bit heavy? Damn, I hate to admit that I'm getting in with the ASC Cell Group. Anyway, it's really been a good opportunity to worship with them. I visited Matthew's Methodist church, Tze's Charismatic church and now Nelson's Anglican church, every visit seems to make me learn more things.

Nelson's church, All Saint Cathedral, so many youth =.=:

Overall, I'm happy with this return. My faith has really been strengthen by witnessing my childhood playmate has turn into such fine young man. So, now I'm back in Semenyih again. I guess the message to me this time is, after recieving blessings from others, it's my turn to bless others.

"They have planted the wind and will harvest the whirlwind."
-Hosea 8:7

Pray that The LORD will bless All Saint Cathedral and also guide Nelson for his future plans in theology study. Pray that Your healing hands lay upon him and may he has a blessed birthday. Pray for Colin too as he has decided to set off to Liberty University, may he finds true wisdom in You and be trained to serve better. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
