The Ultimate Sacrifice

It was a day before Final Year Report due date, and it's also Easter Celebration organized by Christian Fellowship with the theme "The Ultimate Sacrifice". Good news~ I submitted my work in the morning! So I can enjoy entirely the whole night!

Oh ya, before that, me and Shen assisted Samuel the poor soul for his project assembly (he's still in assembly while the due date is the next day, he's in deep trouble). That's how Final Year drives people crazy, with his mentally week mind, one single lame blow is more than enough to make him collapse.

Shen is so pro in machining:

Actually, most of the final year students are not involved in this event (logic). However, we still go a bit bit early to help. Just staying in my area, I helped the band to setup and sound check plus practice. The sound system was a total mess, but we figure it out finally *not bad lah*. By the way, it was a full girl band *cool*.

First item of the event:

Next on, we got a play. Basically, its about the main actor (nerd look and always got bullied) joined Art & Performance Club, wrote a good script for the members to act. He motivated and helped them to be a better actor and also a better person. In the end, he was killed by gangster and the members have to go for the finals without him there. Basically, its the message of someone gave his life away for a better you.

Super sad thing! I was offered to play the role of main actor, but declined because of heavy work load. Haiz... didn't felt good about it for days but thanks Wei Ern for eating the dead cat for me. Honestly, his innocent look suits the character more. I mean... imagine adam got bullied... nah~ It always worked the other way round :P

We got our MC to explain the play in a more biblical term, what a touching moment. Somemore, we had students giving testimony, a spiritual testimony in an uni event~ that's so cool and brilliant.

The closing was splendid, the girls performed a dance, and it ends up with everyone involved got on stage and make a full bow (looks like High School Musical to me). Anyway, its a great great night, maybe coz I'm not stressed up for being responsible of anything.

Wow, everyone is having great time for the "after party" (fooling around in the hall). The final year students just need to rush back for report (except me ^_^). Overall, they did good without most of us helping, but I think we the senior band are better *hohohoho*.

The tradition never fades, mamak session was on! I just realize I haven't had my dinner that night, it means that it was really a good show. Time to unleash my lameness after being hold down by project for so long~ Miao~ Too bad the FES staffs didn't join us, no wonder they are called "Fast Escaping Squad" XD.
