Good Friday Picnic & Service

Yes, on the same day after we had our community service, we joined the picnic organized by Christian Fellowship in campus football field.

It was drizzling when we're almost starting. A few of the organizing committee and me prayed together for a good weather, although the rain was hitting us =.= By God's grace, in few minutes time, the sky is clear!

Preparing food and ice-breaker games:

After that, we spread out the big mat, a big family picnic! Joined some girls to splash them with some lame jokes~ and in just a while I'm at the other side to play captain ball. It's fun, but too bad I left earlier to make it for church service.

Picnic and captain ball:

ConneXion activity in the morning, CF picnic in the afternoon and duh... Good Friday service at CBC at night. My whole day gone without touching even a bit of my R.A.P (report, assignments and project). Anyway, it's the day when God sent His one and only son to die for our sins, we're suppose to set apart this day for remembrance and worship.

Worship team and choir performance:

Different from a normal Sunday Service, we had some special items such as choir and Pastor Daryl performing a solo "Mercy Said No". I think it's quite a good song to tell people about Easter. It's tiring, but a good day nevertheless. It was holy communion too on that night.

Pastor Daryl's solo song:

Arghh... was suppose to stay at church that night since I have worship practise the next day, but problems come all the time and I ended up bothering Robert again =.= Somemore, I didn't tell him earlier, don't feel good about it. Well, good thing is he brought me out to U-Lake for supper and I got to play with his new hamster whole night!

Supper with Robert:

Robert's new hamster - Faith:

"Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning."
-2 John 6

Lord, thank You for this full day of blessings just to live for Your glory. Most importantly, thank You for Your unfailing love that You send Your son down to this lowly earth and died on the cross to wash our sins away. We are unworthy to repay Your grace, but please let us be in Your great plan. In Jesus I pray, Amen.
