Melaka Roadtrip with WinGs

Since it's Hari Raya, Monday and Tuesday were public holiday. I joined WinGs for a daytrip to Melaka, there's a total of 8 people with 2 cars. Me and Robert left at 6 a.m to pick up Stephanie as all of us planned to depart from church at 7 a.m. Indeed, it was a nice weather in the morning.

We stopped by Port Dickson to have breakfast (prepared by Ivy & Adrienne) at the beach. The sea breeze kinda reminds me of home, but I'm not missing home! After the breakfast, we did some walking to the lighthouse on a hill, splendid view on the top. However, it rains while we're returning down :P.

It's a few hours driving til we reached Melaka town. Knowing that the town will be super busy, we parked our car quite some distance away from the town and walk there. Nevertheless, we had plenty of food along the way.

Look at how crowded is Jonker Street:

Our lunch at Famosa Chicken Rice Shop, and durian/mango cendol:

Jagung cendol and Ais kacang:

Apart of the food, we do have a lot of fun there. Firstly, the lighthouse and the super slope down to the sea, where the height really scare Robert off. Next, it's the leftover of the famous A.Famosa fort that we fool around with the cannons.

Well, I see jump shots a lot, but it's my first time doing those stuffs. We jumped for almost 30 minutes outside Dataran Pahlawan. Can you believe people can just stood or sat there staring at us doing weird stuffs over and over again :P

Finally, the darkness took over daylight. Out last stop was dinner at Ban Lee Xiang 万里香 Satay Celup Restaurant. Seriously, it's SPICY!!! Anyway, just stuffs all of them into my mouth, almost half-conscious after the excitements.

"Abba, Father, everything is possible for You. Please take this cup of sufferubg away from me. Yet I want Your will, not mine."
-Mark 14:36

Thank You Lord for blessing our journey and this great time of fellowship. As the holidays end and all of us are back to our respective routines, may You be with us all the time. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
