Cheras Baptist 23rd Anniversary

I mentioned my old digi-cam has some problem and it's certified that the light sensor is spoiled. Most of the people tell me it's time to change, so I get myself a new SONY DSR-T90 (3 Years warranty). This is a touch screen digi-cam, I'm not fully used to it yet.

My new digi-cam:

As usual, I reached Bandar Tasik Selatan station on Sunday morning for church and waited for someone to pick me up. I put some effort on my outlook that day. Firstly, because it's church 23rd Anniversary Lunch. Secondly, Robert said I should change a bit on my dressing. Nevertheless, because I bought a new camera ^_^.

Gangster theme!

As expected, a lot of people are quite surprised with my new look, Robert can't stop smiling and looking at me~ Haha, credit to him that dug out my "potential". Things are kinda different since it's a combine service (Mandarin & English). It includes some special presentations, sermon (interpreter: Adrienne Cho) and baptism!

Besides worship session (pianist: Daniel), WinGs choir did a song , the boys from Mandarin service did a great song too (pianist: Aunty Pooi Keng), Stephanie & Christopher also sang duet of a Mandarin song (pianist: Adam Jong). Do you realize that? We almost used all of our main pianists in CBC, imagine us switching around the piano, that's so COOL!!!

WinGs choir & baptism (5 candidates):

After the service, we moved to Cheers Palace Seafood Restaurant for the Anniversary Lunch which is around 5 minutes driving time =.=". The flow is kinda like a wedding dinner, where people sit in round tables and speeches+performances. Anyway, the food are kinda... nice, except the spicy and green dishes.

We arrived Cheers Palace Restaurant during cake cutting:

Look at the crowd...

Some performances including Stephanie, Christopher & Trent:

We enjoyed ourselves a lot ^_^:

Fuh~ although I'm not doing much except taking photos and eat, but truly it's a great day. We returned to church and clean up the backstage since there's a mess after the baptism. After that, it's chilling time~ Spend some marvelous time alone on the piano again, love it.

Chit chat and also reviewing the photos taken:

"Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed to shut out the light? Of course not! A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light will shine."

Thank you LORD for blessing this anniversary and a chance to listen a great testimony given the the baptism candidate. Pray for Nicole lee that will be having her surgery tomorrow morning, may Your love brings peace in her. Pray for more love and kindness to rain down upon Cheras Baptish Church in the coming years to bring You glory. In Jesus I pray, Amen.
