Christmas Week of 2010

I'm so grateful that I had a week off from research work before Christmas. Stephanie asked me to play the piano for her special performance, as well the worship team on Christmas service led by Christopher and also Sunday service led by Wilson.

Since there won't be time on Saturday, the practices are on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Rushing over to Cheras in the evening is still OK, but rushing back to Semenyih by train is not fun at all, especially after the tiring and stressful practices.

Practice at Cheras Baptist:

For Christmas Eve, Uncle Rodney invited us to his house at Subang. We helped out preparing the toast and spaghetti, good time chatting with the other students from New Era and TARC too. After that, the other ConneXion members stayed overnight but I need to go to church for early practice the next day.

Christmas Eve dinner:

Well, I don't really have enough rest the night before, woke up a little late for practice even though I'm sleeping in church. There are a lot of special item, saxophone, strings, dance... It's either I'm thinking too much or that I stopped too long, it just doesn't sound good for me.

Christmas service:

Me and Legend went straight to Low Yat after service, to retrieve his repaired laptop. We continued Christmas shopping at Mid Valley for some gifts, and some good food too. I'm not really the shopping type, but some how spending some time outside with Legend did cheer me up a bit.

Christmas madness:

"Why do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh did?"
-1 Sammuel 6:6

Oh Lord, despite the burdens and discouraging moments, draw me close to You. Guide me if there is something that I need to understand and accept, or things that need a change to restore the gift. All glory and honour to be Yours only, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
