Place I Call Home

It's been a series of great trips since last Friday when I touch down in West Malaysia. At first, I thought it's just an enjoying trip having fun and visiting around, but the calls for job interview and a sudden scholarship offer just ruin my time.

I'm in the air:

First stop, always and forever, is gonna be Nilai, a place I call home. It's never the same as 2 years ago, but I'm glad the student ministry is still running well. Gosh... the taxi fees boost up to RM42, I remembered it was just RM28 in 2006. I waited for Charles at Nilai Spring Hotel, and the renovation is splendid, this is no more the cheap scale hotel it used to be.

Nilai Spring Hotel lobby:

So many catching up to be done, I had a good chat with the Chan family, and a long lost buddy Carl in UK. Haha, it's great playing with Spotty and Jerry again, still so blur blur. Staying there is awesome as ever!

At the Chan's place:

Yeah! I'm back in the band again, I hasn't been playing for one month plus T_T I miss my Yamaha Eve! After worship practise at the new student house, we had dinner with the other students, glad that I'm not too old til I dunno any of them.

Student fellowship:

Here comes Sunday, back to the good old days where we packed all the instruments into the car and start picking up students all over Nilai College, Inti Uni and Kolej Teknologi Timur. Great time of worshiping in the band, and I'd share my testimony, that encourages me a lot to think of how far I've made it and hope it encourages them too.

Nilai Sunday Service:

"Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning."
-Exodus 27:20

At this turning point of life, thank You Lord for bringing back to this place where I feel comfortable and peace. You uncovered the path ahead, and if this is Your will, let it be done. I believe I will find strength in You, as the impossible will be defeated. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
