It took the committee a lot of hard time to make this possible. A lot of prayers, practises and preparations. I'm the keyboardist for the band, and we had 2 intensive practises. We even had one exclusive day for vocalist to practise. Deeply, I salute and give full respect to everyone's commitment into this event.
After all the efforts, finally the day came. We had a lot of helping hands to set things up. After getting our instruments and sound check done, we jam for a while to get ourselves heat up and went for a quick meal.
We couldn't get the great hall for our event since it's booked for career fair, but worship is not about the place, it's about the heart. We got a lecture hall anyway. The crowd slowly build up, and we started rocking for the night.
We did 12 songs for the night, and they are not easy songs (for me)! More than half of the songs are new to me but thanks God it worked out. We had 4 worship leaders going 3 songs each, keeping the transition kinda challenging. Good thing is it's the same band for Christmas Celebration, the chemistry is kinda there ^_^.
Undeniable, I learnt a lot and it's definitely a great experience joining the worship awakening band. Seriously, after 2 hours of continuous playing and drown under drum and electric guitars' sound, I was entirely exhausted! We went our for supper and a big cup of ABC did cheer me up~
ABC at Ibrahim Maju:

"God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God's generosity can flow through you."

Thank you Lord for blessing me through another great time of worship. Pray that You would guide us through the assignments and project presentation. Lead us to be light that shines at our area of ministry. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
