Mooncake Festival Weekend

Straight after ConneXion Semenyih opening, Robert picked me to Cheras as I'm in the worship team (again) for that week. So, as usual, I woke up not-that-early in the morning and join worship practice led by Wilson Wong at church. He's quite ambitious to choose some meaningful but new songs. Anyway, he got the quality to do that, just that I need cope up with him.

Worship practice on Saturday morning:

It's October, signifying the stupid government exams (PMR & SPM) are striking the highschool kids. Because of that not much of the youths turn up for WinGs (Youth meething), so we're just gonna make it a informal one, with FOODS!!! Of course, it ends early and we're there doing some plans for October while I'm still struggling through the songs.

We have mooncakes, chocolates and tea:

At night, the girls have some other plans, so Robert brought me to Bah Ku Teh for dinner and then a movie at Leisure Mall. There goes my 12th movie in cinema of my life. We watched G-Force, which are guinea pigs version of G.I Joe, using all the high tech gadgets to save the world. Anyway, it's undeniable that they're cute. Not so good storyline but I like the graphic blend of real world and animation. Overall, it's a fun movie.

Buying tickets for movie after dinner:

G-Force poster:

It's Mooncake Festival but we didn't celebrate anything except eating mooncak. Well, I'm cool with it. Before Sunday Service started, I peeked around the children Sunday School. It's either I have a different childhood or children nowadays are different.

Kids below 7 are still easy to please, Aunty Pooi Keng did a really good job playing on the piano for them... another peek at the children above 7, they are more interested to playing songs on laptop =.=", and those are like... kinda youth worship songs.

Oh ya, another credit to Robert that drove the van all the way to Semenyih to pick up the rest of the Nottingham boys. The bus schedule is going nuts this semester, so it would be a tough time for him at the meantime. Wilson did good for the worship.

The Nott boys, and Pastor giving sermon:

Pastor Kenneth also shared about a topic that related to my favourite worship song Above All and we played it as response song. I bet Aunty Pooi Keng shared with pastor about my blog post "Above All" while I ask for some points to improve. That was so high-lifting, another great worship session again!

Thank You LORD for showing us another wonder of worshiping. You lift us up high when we need You. Thank You for blessing us wonderful people to be around us. Pray that everything will go good as this new semester starts. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
