Friday night is the first conference. Cheras Baptist is doing the opening for that night, so I reach Cheras on Thursday night for practice. I walked the shortest night market (at Cheras)I had ever been and had dinner there before practice.
The next day, I spend whole day helping Ivan giving tour to the Summit Team, a group of Americans that come to reach out and also to attend ConneXion Conference. The plan is, we're going to The Summit, Subang to have fellowship with the CF committee of SEGI College.
4 of the Summit Team members, waiting for KTM:

It's almost time, we headed to First Baptist Church, where ConneXion is held. We need to be early for our final practice, although it's just an opening. Doing 6 songs (2 instrumentals) with 7 band members is not easy at all! We started late and ended up just playing 5 songs, but I would say it's quite good (I guess).
Here comes the real thing! Worship lead by the very experienced worship leader, Dan Carson. Heard that his son is the lead guitarist for Chris Tomlin, the worship session is fun and good. Then, Jason Gaston, a student pastor speak for the night. Everything is OK, and fellowship is really nice after that. The most exciting part is ConneXion from Nilai, Cheras, Semenyih and Damansara are all worshiping in one church!
Running around for the whole day is really tiring. Too bad, the church van is used to fetch the Summit Team. Then some of us need to go back to Cheras by using public transport.
Thanks God we caught the last train:

"When you see the destruction for yourselves, you will say, Truly, the LORD'S great power reaches far beyond our borders!"

Pray that the ConneXion Conference has touched weaken hearts and lost souls. Also pray that all other ConneXion will continue to grow strong in Christ. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
