Ivy's 21st Birthday Party

It's Labor Day, poor thing... we still need to study for exam during public holiday. Coincidentally, Adrienne from CBC is organizing a surprise birthday party for Ivy at a place call Japan Club near Mid Valley. So, what am I waiting for? I knew I still have mountains high and oceans deep of notes to swallow, but who cares~ I just wanna get myself out of Semenyih!

Me and Kai Seng left Semenyih at 12.30 p.m and meet up with Robert and some of the youth in Time Square. We had Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for lunch. After that, have a little walk around Time Square and Robert picked us to Mid Valley. Too bad Robert can't join for the party that night as he's catching his flight to Kuching, so it's my job to summarize the party for him here!

On the way walking from dunno which station to Time Sqaure:

First time having Krispy Kremme Doughnuts:

There's still time until the party starts, so we continued shopping around Mid Valley. After having a drink, me and Kai Seng tried to locate where is Japan Club, so we explored around Mid Valley. It's just 5-10 minutes walk away and it's opposite Mid Valley, so we head back and get the youths, and walk back to Japan Club again. Yes... the weather is quite hot actually.

珍珠红奶茶&绿奶茶, Mid Valley's view from Japan Club:

We reached when Tim and the others arrived, so we started preparing (decorating, setting up food, planning for surprises). I have to walk back to KTM to get Daniel and his brother, running on the road in KL is quite fun actually :P. After the deco part, we're ready to surprise Ivy when she comes (she thought it was a family dinner only). Seriously, CBC's organizing ability is quite good.

Prepare to smash the balloons when she opens the door:

We waited in the dark room for almost 20+ mintues until she came. Ivy opened the door then we shouted, smashed balloons and whatever. Her reaction was... she don't even look what's happening, she screamed, turn backward and ran... Haha! Success!

We had a simple ice-breaker, prayer then dinner! I'm so glad it's actually Ivy's birthday, I can see minimum green stuffs on the dishes ^_^ - Paradise~

Ivan hosted the games as the next session. The first one was passing a tin box around, and when the music stops, the one holding the box must open it and pick a note. That person have to do whatever is written on it and Ivy will have another box to pick "yes" or "no" which means to do the action along with the victim. Finally, all the "victims" will wish her Happy Birthday with their butt~

Dance crazily without music with Sophia:

King Kong heating chest and roar with Andrew:

I'm a little teapot:

Kai Seng has to give a massage but Ivy refuses, so Ivan had it:

Here comes the finalle:

The next game was quite good, we are split into 3 groups. Ivy's on the stage and she'll announce something, then the fastest group that found that thing and race it to her will win. The best round I had is the one where she said: give me something that starts with alphabet "A", "B", "C", "D" and "E". All the groups are quite panic to figure out the nearest items. I automatically shouted to my group "I'm A!" and ran to Ivy, Daniel and Carmen also followed. Bryan was behind blur blur a bit "I'm...I'm.. I'm B!". Hoping that the rest of our group can get the last "E", Eugene just realize that it was A to E, and he ran over. Haha, so our group won, with members having the initial from A to E. That's my favourite round, it's amazing how God planned and put people together ^_^.

Here comes the cake. It's actually Ivy's belated birthday and exactly Daniel's birthday, so we celebrated both together. Nevertheless, the event followed by candle blowing is, face-blowing ^_^. Haha, what a great day!

Both of them happy cutting their cakes:

After the face-blowing, Daniel's face is too horrible to be shown, but you can predict from the damage of the cake:

Ezekiel 24:13 "Now your impurity is lewdness. Because I tried to cleanse you but you would not be cleansed from your impurity, you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided." Thanks God for blessing us such a wonderful time of fellowship. LORD, these people from CBC are great servants and followers of Yours, I pray that they will receive blessings like rain and You will continue to prosper in their lives. Also pray for Robert, Adrienne, Ivy and Ivan. They're having a trip to Kuching, give them journey mercy, LORD and hope that they'll have a wonderful time there. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
