Bible Study Group: Cyling in Shah Alam

Today is our Nottingham Bible Study Group first official outing as planned during the Cameron "Leadership Training". We're suppose to meet at Alex's house at 8 a.m, I woke up at 7.15 a.m, preparing myself and played some songs to wake Audri up :P We reached Alex's house at 8.02a.m, everyone was already there =.= except Alex who went out to get Sarah and Hannah. Kai Seng was organizing who's gonna be in who's car. Basically we have 4 cars where the drivers are: Alex, Sen Loong, Teck Ming and Nic.

I was in Nic's car with Audri, Zi Jian and Mark. I knew it was a long journey to Shah Alam, but Mark's mind game really blows the boredom off. We arrived our destination Taman Pertanian Malaysia before 10a.m, we met up with Uncle Rodney and Pastor Daryl there. We got a total of 21 people in this first outing! *Cool*

We gathered to have our prayer and praise the LORD for the nice day. Then we set off to collect our bikes. I wonder is it because of weekend, there're so many people cycling there too.

It was so long since I cycled, maybe around 2005? However, the bike I got is smaller compare to mine in my hometown, so I was not very comfortable with it. I wonder is it a cycling park, or a zoo... they have some animals. Monkeys are set free to walk around *what the...*.

The scenery is nice, but I never knew cycling can be that tiring. There're too many hills, but the downward slopes are extremely fun!!!! We actually saw a crew having some game around the area, their T-shirt is quite interesting too. I expect this is one of the TV1, TV2 or TV3 stuffs. Tech Ming has been a very good tour guide around, glad to have him.

All of them are wearing a same thing, making a circle:

Next stop, we arrived at Taman Iklim Sederhana Empat Music. This showhouse will display scenery of the current climate, which is Spring now. They used yellow lighting to resemble sunlight and air-condition for the cold breeze, but it is surprisingly fresh and natural. The fragrant of the flowers are like aroma therapy, it's really a good place.

Before we reached the end point, there're more hills to climb *almost dead X_X* but of course there're down slope after every hill, just like how life goes. The last slope especially, it was so so so high, I let off the pedal, just let my bike slides down and scream all the way~ I think it reaches almost 30-40 km/h. FUN! SYOK! 爽啊! We returned the bikes at 12.30 p.m.

Then, we had our lunch at some town area in Shah Alam (I think so...) there're so many Bah Kuet Teh 肉骨茶shops there =.= easily 5 or more. We have so many people until we have to use 2 big tables, but sitting with the girls always have advantages ^_^ in terms of food.

Everything's done, and we're heading home after lunch. Chat a bit in the car but finally can't stand long, and fell asleep until we reached Semenyih. Overall, it's a worthy trip by paying only RM20 for all of these. Hope that we can have more trips like this and the new comers will make a decision to join our Bible Study. Thanks to everyone who participated in this outing, you guys are awesome!

Jeremiah 46:27 "But do not be afraid, my servant; do not be dismayed. For I will bring you home again from distant lands, and your children will return from their exile." If it is a deed for the LORD, if it is for the glory of the mighty God, be confident and pray. Have faith and trust in the Holy Spirit that will guide us through. I pray that new comers today will join us in Wednesday Bible Study. Also pray for the very first International Student Ministry Conference in First Baptist Church on 4th April, may it be a great impact to others life. Shaun is back to Nilai for the weekend before his work starts in Penang, pray that God be with him throughout his career. In Jesus most precious name I pray, Amen.
